Cover Supervisor

North West/ temporary / £100 - 120 per day depending on experience

These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where students are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally, and they are looking for enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour.

We are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work on day-to-day, long-term and potential permanent assignments. As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students aged 11 to 16 remain motivated, engaged and on task throughout the school day. A good general knowledge of the secondary curriculum and the confidence to adapt to different subject areas will help you succeed in this rewarding role. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain valuable classroom experience within secondary education.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or a minimum of 6 months' experience working with young people
• Good general knowledge of the secondary curriculum across a range of subjects
• Confidence managing classes of students aged 11 to 16
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to working across different departments and year groups
