You'll be operating forklifts safely to support production operations and service hauliers, including vacuum lift operation to sort CHEP pallets to specific standards.What you'll doSafely operate FLT trucks to support production & haulier operationsDirect visiting vehicles during loading & unloadingMaintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAsSort stocks to correct standards following specific guidelinesEnsure trucks and equipment are well maintained; report operational problems including damage to truck or propertyCarefully handle and store company hire stock while following required stock rotationsWhat we need from youExperience working in a fast-paced warehouse yard (or similar) environmentStrong communication skills with hauliersMinimum 2 years' counterbalance forklift operation experienceExternal FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR) - up to 5 tons (B1) or equivalentReach Forklift Qualification (desirable)RTITB trained (desirable)Safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work to quality standardsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we are committed to developing a diverse workforce in which everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
