Bristol (Aztec West) Hybrid working (minimum 2 days onsite). Travel required (including international)

Are you an experienced programme leader ready to play a key role on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects?

Balfour Beatty, as part of the MEH Alliance, is seeking a Head of HVAC Programme Delivery to lead the end-to-end delivery of a critical HVAC scope on the Sizewell C project.

What you'll be doing

In this senior leadership position, you will be accountable for the full lifecycle delivery (EPC) of the HVAC programme - from design and procurement through to fabrication and installation.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Senior Project Managers
  • Deliver against key programme targets including cost, quality, safety and schedule
  • Define and drive execution strategies across a complex, matrix organisation
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Lead governance, reporting and programme performance reviews
  • Act as a senior escalation point across the supply chain
  • Navigate complexity, manage interfaces and drive delivery outcomes
Who we're looking for

We are looking for a proven programme delivery leader with experience operating at a senior level within major infrastructure projects.

You will bring:

  • Experience leading large-scale, multi-project programmes
  • A strong track record within regulated, safety-critical environments
  • Expertise in EPCC delivery models and complex supply chains
  • Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage cost, risk and change
  • Confidence operating at senior leadership level

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, construction or a related discipline
  • Chartered status preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
Desirable Experience
  • Nuclear new build or decommissioning
  • Major infrastructure or energy projects (rail, power, offshore wind etc.)
  • Experience working within alliance/partnered environments
