A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Tax Senior Solicitor/Associate to join a growing Inverness team advising on the tax aspects of corporate, commercial and property transactions.

This role is ideal for a Solicitor looking to develop specialist tax expertise while working closely with corporate and commercial colleagues on a varied and engaging workload.

The role

• Advise on tax aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals
• Assist with business restructurings and reorganisations
• Advise on property tax matters including LBTT, SDLT and VAT
• Support employee share schemes and incentive arrangements
• Draft and negotiate tax-related documentation
• Contribute to client training and business development initiatives

About you

• 2+ years' PQE in tax, corporate, commercial or transactional work
• Interest in tax planning and transactional support work
• Organisational and communication skills
• Commercially aware and solutions-focused
• Able to manage competing priorities effectively
