We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.We are looking for talented a Contract Systems Engineer to support the delivery of an aerospace project. This is ideal for a contractor who is an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and producing high-quality outputs. Responsibilities: Supporting analysis of customer requirements and management throughout the development lifecycle Assisting or authoring of requirement specifications for flow down to sub-systems, suppliers and/or customer approval Authoring/supporting interface control documents and ensure alignment with internal and customer requirements Collaborating with the simulation, analysis and design teams to assist architect the system Evaluating the suitability of the system architecture and make recommendations as appropriate Supporting customers, partners and suppliers with systems integration of electric motors and controllers Develop system test strategies showing traceability and compliance to customer and system requirements Produce Validation and Verification evidence to support certification Support resource estimation and risk management Familiar aerospace safety analysis techniques Skills and experience required: Degree or equivalent in electrical, systems engineering (or other relevant technical domain) Demonstrated experience of systems engineering principles throughout system/product design development and delivery Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods and simulation using tools such as Cameo and Simulink Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, codeBeamer Ability to deal with system design complexity and degree of ambiguity Creative problem solver, with a logical approach to implementing solutions Good verbal and written communication skills A flexible approach to work with the desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment within a small company Self-motivated with the determination to succeed UK driving licence and be available to support visits to supplier sites.
