We are looking for a highly skilled, compassionate, experienced consultant clinical psychologist to join us in Pennine Care NHS foundation trust CAMHS.

Main duties of the job To lead the design and delivery of evidence-based care pathways and psychological interventions for a range of childhood emotional health and well-being issues across the local system. To support whole system transformation and lead programmes of change that ensure that the principles of "Future in Mind" and iThrive recommendations are delivered within the locality. Ensure the systematic provision of high-quality clinical psychology and psychological interventions in the multidisciplinary team for the child and family population of the locality, across all sectors of care.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service Embed a local culture of early intervention and develop the recovery and self-management agenda within all

Clinical:
1.The ensure the development and delivery of whole system evidence-based care pathways that have a strong emphasis on recovery, self-management, capacity building and placing expertise at points where CYP can easily access.
2.To provide highly developed specialist psychological assessments of clients referred to the multidisciplinary team, based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data form a variety of sources including systematic clinical psychometric procedures, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care.

Person specification Application and interview
- Doctorate level training in clinical psychology, including specifically models of clinical, psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and child developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS or a BPS. Or a post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) Statement of equivalence.
- Experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist with demonstrable experience as a highly specialist clinical psychologist with Children and young people and/or their families/carers. Experience in undertaking line management of psychological therapies staff.
- Well developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, highly technical and clinically sensitive information to service users, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS Highly developed skills and experience of working with complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of children and young people (including those with complex additional needs) and their families in a range of settings including their homes, other community and acute care settings, Residential and foster care environments for LAC.
- Additional further training and qualifications in a range of therapeutic models (e.g. CBT, CAT, psycho-analytic therapies)
- Experience of representing psychology within the context of multi-disciplinary care.
- Highly developed knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies to treat specific groups of service users.
- Knowledge of the theory and practice of highly specialised psychological therapies and assessment methodologies.
