We are looking for a Consultancy & Product Management Intern to join our team in the Amsterdam office.

What your days will look like

As a Consultancy & Product Management Intern at PaymentGenes:

• You will spend at least 50% of your time on a dedicated product development project, which could entail:
• Desk research on potential future clients
• Analysis of new payments trends, new players, and rules & regulation
• Drafting reports, blogs and / or recommendation reports
• Developing and implementing new features for one of our products, e.g. by integrating new data sources in one of our data products
• Automating processes for one of our products, e.g. automating the lead qualification and follow-up process for our PaymentGenes Academy
• Drafting commercial communication like a pitch or the text for the landing page for one of our products
• Topic of the project will be disclosed during the interview process, and is likely to revolve around one of the following topics: Mobility as a Service (MaaS), payment ecosystem analysis, PSD3 or other payments trends and developments
• You will spend a maximum 50% on ad hoc support of initiatives and projects with a wide variety of tasks that mirrors the work of our consultants

Profile

You are an open, ambitious person with a positive attitude that likes taking on new challenges. With your commercial mindset, you enjoy connecting with people and are not afraid to ask questions. You are hands-on in experimenting with new tools and technologies and do not shy away from light coding tasks. You take responsibility over your projects and tasks, and always make sure you deliver the results in time.

For this internship, it is important that you match the profile below:

• You are a student enrolled in a University Master's degree (ideally in Business or Economics)
• You are available for 5 to 6 months, starting in July - September 2025
• You are fluent in English (Dutch would be a plus) and have excellent writing and communication skills
• You are available for 36 - 40 hours per week
• Excellent analytical skills (that can be backed up by your grades)
• You are tech-savvy and eager to experiment with new technology
• You are based in Amsterdam or nearby
• You are open to joining our Consultancy team after your internship if we feel it's a match
• You are eager to learn and understand all aspects of consultancy
• You are a natural relationship builder and you have empathic abilities
• You are self-motivated and always walk the extra mile
• Team player and someone who values a good relationship with colleagues
• Bonus points if you have experience in working with one or more of the following tools: internet scrapers, web building applications, survey tools
