IMAD is a pioneering and reference institution in home care/community health assistance (HCA) in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to over number individuals of all ages, 25% of whom are under 65. With trained and engaged professionals, including more than 50 teams deployed throughout the canton, IMAD's mission is to respond to the needs of individuals who wish to remain at home independently while preserving their quality of life during periods of temporary or prolonged fragility. It also helps to reduce the duration of hospital stays, facilitates the return home, and relieves family caregivers. It provides a flexible work environment that fosters a balance between work and private life, as well as conditions that encourage skill development and the sharing of knowledge and experiences.As a Community Health and Care Assistant (HCA) in a home care team, the HCA autonomously delivers care while respecting the client's lifestyle habits, beliefs, values, and culture. They work in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional manner, respecting the mission and objectives of the organization.Key Responsibilities:- Provide basic care and medical-technical acts delegated by the reference nurse, considering the client's holistic approach.- Promote the client's recovery, strengthening or maintaining their autonomy, allowing them to restore, pursue, or adapt their lifestyle to remain or return home.- Assess and reassess the client's needs for assistance and assume responsibility for them.- Provide assistance while respecting the client's lifestyle habits and environment.- Support the maintenance of relationships with the client's network and collaborate with them by determining resources and providing support.Your Profile:- Recognize the importance of communication and connection with others, with good listening skills.- Ability to assess needs and act responsibly.- Resilience to stress and physical work.- Capability to work autonomously and interprofessionally within a multidisciplinary team.- Mobility is essential (by bike/walking/driving/public transport).What We Offer:At IMAD, we believe that well-being is key.
