Communications Manager

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (Hybrid), London, Greater London, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, Devon Salary expectation: £36,000 to £47,500 This is a full-time role

We're recruiting for a Communications Manager in England to play a vital role in helping us build community cohesion, strengthen society, and improve lives by delivering on our strategy, It Starts With Community . This role is an 18-month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity.

The position is part of an exciting and sophisticated program aimed at tackling social issues. Through this initiative, we work closely with the government to distribute funds from long-dormant bank and building society accounts (dormant assets) for the benefit of the community.

The job will focus on two multi-million-pound funding schemes that The National Lottery Community Fund will deliver. These are:

• The Community Wealth Fund: a pot of money allocated to local communities to spend on initiatives they believe will improve their area;
• The Youth Enrichment Fund: aimed at increasing access to opportunities in arts, culture, sports, and wider youth services for disadvantaged young people, enhancing wellbeing and employability.
