Reports To: Head of Facilities

Contract Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our facilities team as a Cleaning Team Leader.

As Team Leader, you will supervise the Housekeeping and Laundry Teams to ensure our hospice environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead and deliver an effective cleaning operation ensuring systems and processes are efficient and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Support the Head of Facilities with the delivery of the annual health & safety and infection prevention control audits, working collaboratively with consultants and staff to achieve high standards of safety at the hospice.
  • Manage housekeeping equipment and stock efficiently and effectively, meeting the required Trinity standards and fulfil all statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • In conjunction with Head of Facilities and Health & Safety Consultants, to ensure the internal and external environment is safe and that all relevant risk management activities (including incident management system) are completed to required standards.
  • Manage and develop staff members in the housekeeping team.
