The duties within this Class 1 role include

• Completing temperature controlled deliveries
• Sealing and unsealing back doors
• Monitoring the refrigeration unit
• Reporting temperature issues to the depot
• Trunking to RDC or NDC, no multi drop
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Supervising unloading / loading (no Manual Handling)
• Maintaining delivery records

Duration: This is a temporary, but ongoing position

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The Umbrella rate for this postion is £19.88 standard and £26.43 overtime. We do not accept max 20 visas or sponsorships

Working Hours: Start times are between 1100 & 1500 each day. Shift lengths are approximately 10 hours.

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will need:

• A full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement.
• A minimum of 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK
• a Digital Tacho Card (Digicard)
• a valid Driver CPC Card
• a strong and coherent understanding of driver's working hours and working time directive.

You must not have anymore than 6 points on your licence.
