About the Role

As a Claims Specialist, you will manage a varied portfolio of liability and property claims across the Dutch, Belgian, and Nordic markets. Your focus will be to resolve claims efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality service during critical moments.

You will report directly to the Head of Claims for Benelux & Nordics.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex claims from coverage analysis to resolution.
• Provide expert support and guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
• Coordinate with external experts, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute claims insights to underwriting and risk assessment teams.
• Participate in client meetings, claims reviews, and improvement initiatives.

About You

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in non-life insurance claims.
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
• Strong client focus, communication skills, and professional curiosity.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of insurance practices and claims processes.
