About the Role
As a Claims Specialist, you will manage a varied portfolio of liability and property claims across the Dutch, Belgian, and Nordic markets. Your focus will be to resolve claims efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality service during critical moments.
You will report directly to the Head of Claims for Benelux & Nordics.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex claims from coverage analysis to resolution.
- Provide expert support and guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
- Coordinate with external experts, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute claims insights to underwriting and risk assessment teams.
- Participate in client meetings, claims reviews, and improvement initiatives.
About You
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in non-life insurance claims.
- Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.
- Strong client focus, communication skills, and professional curiosity.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of insurance practices and claims processes.
