Civil Technician

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Technician to join their growing team in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Technician looking to develop their career within the civil and environmental engineering sector while working on a broad range of infrastructure, drainage and flood management projects across Ireland.

The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative engineering team delivering projects from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.

Projects

• River and coastal engineering projects across Ireland
• Stormwater drainage and SuDS infrastructure schemes
• Flood alleviation and hydraulic modelling projects
• Environmental and water infrastructure projects
• Civil infrastructure and public realm developments

Role

• Producing detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Supporting engineers with technical design and project delivery
• Assisting with drainage, hydraulic and civil infrastructure projects
• Preparing layouts, detailing and technical documentation
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Supporting project planning, coordination and delivery
• Contributing to projects from concept through to detailed design

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or related discipline
• 2+ years' experience in a Civil Technician role within consultancy
• Strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D experience advantageous)
• Experience working on civil infrastructure, drainage or water-related projects
• Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Salary & Benefits

• €40,000 - €50,000 (DOE) + Benefits
