Chief Technology Officer

A well-established Games Production Studio is searching for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their team in Armenia or Barcelona (or work remotely from another country). You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of the gaming platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the online casino industry, preferably from the provider side with a deep understanding of its processes, together with strong expertise in backend development and technologies, including Javascript, Typescript, and Node.js. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the overall technical strategy and ensure alignment with the company's business

• Own the architecture, design, and development and product roadmap of the company's platform, ensuring its scalability, performance, and security.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Oversee system design and development processes, making critical architectural decisions and
• ensuring high code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional gaming experiences.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the gaming and blockchain industries, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the online casino industry, preferably from the provider side with a deep
• understanding of its processes.
• Strong expertise in backend development and technologies, including Javascript, Typescript, and
• Node.js. Knowledge of Rust and Kotlin is a plus.
• Strong experience with GitHub repos, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Google Cloud and other technologies to manage containerize applications, and deploy cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to automate business workflows for enhanced efficiency. Experience implementing AI, LLMs, and Generative AI into business processes is a plus.
• Experience managing compliance requirements in the gambling industry.
• Experience with platform and player monitoring tools and practices to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Strong documentation skills of the platform and its related APIs and tools.
• Experience integrating with online casino partners.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• A track record of making and communicating impactful architectural decisions.
