We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at one of Oxford's leading academic institutions.

Working within a well-established brigade, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food for a diverse range of services, including student dining, formal events, conferences, and hospitality functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about fresh food, professional development, and maintaining exceptional culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Take responsibility for a designated section within the kitchen.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal food offerings.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Support and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.
• Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of daily kitchen operations.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Demi Chef de Partie ready for progression.
• Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation and modern cooking techniques.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A positive attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience within hospitality, events, contract catering, hotels, or educational settings is advantageous.
