Salary: £32,000 per annum
Location: Oxford
Full-Time Permanent
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at one of Oxford's leading academic institutions.
Working within a well-established brigade, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food for a diverse range of services, including student dining, formal events, conferences, and hospitality functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about fresh food, professional development, and maintaining exceptional culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Take responsibility for a designated section within the kitchen.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal food offerings.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
- Support and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of daily kitchen operations.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an ambitious Demi Chef de Partie ready for progression.
- Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation and modern cooking techniques.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience within hospitality, events, contract catering, hotels, or educational settings is advantageous.
