Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present fresh, nutritious meals to consistently high standards in a busy kitchen environment.
• Support the delivery of meals for military personnel, along with functions, events, and special occasions.
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness, ensuring full compliance with Environmental Health regulations.
• Assist with large scale food production while maintaining quality, presentation, and attention to detail.
• Work closely with colleagues across the kitchen and front of house teams to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook/Chef within catering, hospitality, or large scale food service.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work confidently in a fast paced environment.
• Genuine passion for preparing quality food and delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience within military, government, or contract catering is desirable, along with IOSH certification and basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
