Salary: Starting Salary is £25,583 (Level one) rising to £26,403 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Location:Clifton Leisure Centre (NG11 8AB) or Djanogly Community Leisure Centre (NG7 6BR) or Victoria Leisure Centre (NG1 1DB)

About the Role

Active Nottingham are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team at Harvey Hadden Sports Village. The main duties are to ensure the safe supervision of all customers using the swimming pools and other areas of the centre, deliver exceptional customer service by consistently adhering to professional standards, maintain high levels of cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for customers to enjoy their activities. The role also requires setting up, breaking down and correctly storing equipment in accordance with guidelines and health and safety standards, and working shifts and flexible hours to cover the needs of the service, along with attending monthly staff training.

  • Sunday: 9.00am - 4.30pm
  • Post 2 - Djanogly Community Leisure Centre (NG7 6BR) 8.75 hours per week (Female Only)
    • Sunday: 7.30am - 4.45pm
  • Monday: 3.00pm - 9.30pm
  • Saturday: 7.45am - 4.30pm
  • Sunday: 12.45pm - 4.30pm
  • Monday: 1.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Tuesday: 2.00pm - 9.30pm
  • Post 5 - Victoria Leisure Centre (NG1 1DB) 11.75 hours per week (Female Only)
    • Wednesday: 6.00pm - 9.30pm
    • Thursday: 1.30pm - 6.00pm
    • Friday: 5.45pm - 9.30pm

About You The ideal candidate will have:
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification 10th Edition
  • Knowledge of a range of sport and leisure activities
  • Hold or be willing to obtain within a 12 week period Swim England or STA Swim Teachers Qualification
  • A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
