Yeatman Hospital is looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our patients, staff, and visitors receive high-quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

If you are enthusiastic about working in a catering role within a healthcare environment, we would love to hear from you. This is a part time post of 28 hours per week.

The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday on either an early
6.30 - 2pm or late
10.30 - 6pm

Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.

Preparing and serving meals to patients, staff and visitors.

Assisting with basic food preparation whilst maintaining the standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Washing up and general cleaning duties, following food safety regulations and hospital policies whilst providing excellent customer service.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
