Salary: £13 - £17 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schools across Redcar & Cleveland are looking for calm, reliable, and caring Lunchtime Supervisors to ensure pupils enjoy a safe and engaging lunchtime experience. If you enjoy working with children and want to play a meaningful part in their school day, this could be the ideal role for you.

GSL Education are recruiting enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor who can oversee lunchtime routines, encourage positive play, and help create a secure and friendly environment for pupils throughout the school's midday break.

About the Role:

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help manage the dining hall, supervise the playground, and support pupils with social interactions and safe play. You will work closely with school staff to maintain high standards of behaviour and wellbeing during one of the busiest parts of the school day.

Key Responsibilities of Lunchtime Supervisor:

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and surrounding areas
• Encourage safe, inclusive, and positive play
• Promote good behaviour and assist with minor incidents
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth lunchtime routine
• Experience supervising or working with children (paid or voluntary)
• A friendly, patient, and proactive attitude
• Ability to promote positive behaviour and support school expectations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
