Category Development Manager - Sauces

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Category Development Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. This role is within the UK business unit, reporting to our Category Development Controller as part of our Omnichannel & Sauces teams.
The primary responsibilities include managing relationships with external retailers, analyzing category performance, and owning the product range. You will work with some of the UK's most loved brands, including Heinz Tomato Ketchup, HP Brown Sauce, and Heinz Seriously Good Mayonnaise. You'll be part of a high-performing team and will have exposure to senior internal stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with UK retailers to position Kraft Heinz as the partner of choice.
- Identify insight-led opportunities driven by shopper needs to foster category growth.
- Manage trade range and planograms to optimize distribution and space allocation.
- Collaborate with the sales team to launch NPD externally and manage range rationalization.
- Lead reporting and analysis of retailer, sub-category, and product performance, providing actionable recommendations.
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally to influence business strategies.
- Bring compelling insights to support our innovation pipeline and validate business cases with market data.
- Work with marketing to support NPD and campaigns with consumer insights.
What you'll need
- At least 2+ years of experience in category management or development.
- Experience with IRI/Kantar or retailer shopper insight platforms.
- Strong numerical and strategic skills to analyze market, category, and financial data.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
