Caretaker

A friendly primary school in Bristol is looking for a reliable Caretaker to join their team after the Easter holidays.

The school prides itself on being a welcoming and inclusive place for pupils and staff. They're looking for someone dependable who can help keep the site safe, tidy and well maintained each afternoon and evening.

The role

This is a practical, hands on role supporting the day to day running of the school site.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Locking up the school buildings and site each evening
• Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
• General site upkeep and keeping the building safe and tidy
• Supporting with routine health and safety checks
• Responding to any small maintenance issues that arise during the day

• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasksA friendly and professional approach within a school environment

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The details

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 12.15pm - 6.15pm
• Pay: £13.75 per hour PAYE, plus holiday pay
• Start: After the Easter holidays
• Contract: Expected to run until at least the end of the academic year

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
