Applicants are invited to apply for a one year fixed term role (with likely extension) as Cardiac Lead for the South West Maternal Medicine Network.

The role is suitable for an applicant with a CCT in obstetrics who has a strong interest in the care of cardiology patients.

It offers a 1PAs and commences in March 2026 for an initial 1 year.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate leadership in cardiology maternal medicine, including education and care plans.
Liaise with SWMMN obstetric, medical, anaesthetic, midwifery, cardiology and governance leads regarding cardiology patients and care plans.
Attend Cardiovascular MDT to discuss cardiology patient care plans as required.

Qualifications

Clinical Certificate of Training (CCT) in obstetrics.
Strong interest and experience in cardiovascular care within a maternal setting.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
