Job Description

  • Hybrid: 3-day onsite at Canary Wharf
  • Initial 6-months with potential extension
  • Rate: Up to £415/day inside
C# Developer (.Net)
  • Location: Canary Wharf
  • Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week
  • Rate: £415 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Duration: 6 months initial contract with potential extension up to 2 years with a Permanent conversion option
  • Positions Available: 13 positions
Interview Process: 2 rounds of interview - Face-to-face interview only, and Technical assessment -Home assignment to be completed as part of the selection process

Job Summary: We're hiring on behalf of our client, a leading financial services company, within their Business Intelligence development team. The role focuses on developing and supporting business applications using the MS .NET platform (C#, Visual Studio) and working with both Oracle and SQL Server databases. You'll be joining a collaborative team that delivers key business solutions across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Visual C# .NET with Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Provide ongoing support for existing C# and .NET applications, including troubleshooting and implementing solutions
  • Write and optimise T-SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data analysis and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with Database Administrators, Technical Support, and Infrastructure teams across London and New York offices
  • Follow Change Management Control procedures and coordinate with Release teams for production deployments
  • Provide occasional out-of-hours support (weekdays and weekends)
Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in C#, Visual Studio and .NET Framework development
  • Solid experience with both SQL Server (T-SQL) and Oracle (PL/SQL) databases
  • Knowledge of application life cycle management, including unit testing, QA, and deployment
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications
  • Understanding of Windows Server environments
Desirable: Experience with Citrix configurations, disaster recovery environments, and working in multi-location teams (UK/US)
