Business Development Manager- Plant Hire & Events

Location: North Wales / North West; remote working considered. Monthly visits to the North Wales site required.

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 basic, plus commission

Territory: UK-wide

The opportunity

This is a chance to join a rapidly expanding hire business and help shape its next stage of growth. Part of a wider group with three operating divisions, it offers the backing of a larger organisation alongside the pace and freedom of an entrepreneurial business.

Working closely with an inspirational, forward-thinking owner, you'll have the opportunity to put your own stamp on business development and grow a broad range of services across construction, events and other commercial markets.

What you'll do

• Win new business and develop relationships with customers across the UK.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities across the service range.
• Explore new markets and customer groups.
• Manage opportunities from first contact through to agreement.
• Work with colleagues across the group to develop solutions for customers.

What we're looking for

You'll have a track record in B2B sales and enjoy creating new opportunities. Experience in plant or equipment hire, events, construction, site services, toilets, fencing or barriers would be useful, but strong candidates from other sectors will be considered.

You'll be proactive, commercially minded and comfortable managing your own workload. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally are required.
