Salary: circa £100,000 base + Uncapped Commission (OTE circa £200,000)
We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a high-growth technology consultancy specialising in software engineering and data-driven solutions.

Known for their technical expertise and consultative approach, they help businesses unlock value through innovative, scalable technology. With strong growth plans, they are now expanding their business development function to drive further success.
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new revenue streams across the South of the UK.
This is a consultative, solution-led role, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand their challenges and deliver tailored digital solutions. You'll play a key role in shaping client strategy and long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target accounts.
- Build and nurture relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders.
- Lead solution-driven sales conversations focused on data, software, and cloud services.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to scope, design, and price proposals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting.
- Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Proven track record in B2B sales within a software, data, or technology consultancy.
- Experience closing mid-to-large, consultative deals.
- Strong understanding of data, cloud, AI, or software engineering services.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working remotely.
- (Desirable) Experience selling into public sector or regulated industries.
- £100,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of ~£200,000
- Full remote working (with travel to client sites in the South of the UK)
