Software Development Manager - Hybrid

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to join their team based in Dublin on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role is hybrid, with 6 days per month on-site.

You will be the person who oversees the build function across Software Development and Delivery, working alongside both onshore and offshore developers, as well as architects and testers. Reporting into the Director of Development, you will be able to provide updates by having your finger on the pulse, running daily scrums, monitoring backlogs and setting up sprint sessions.

Software Development Manager - Key Skills:

• Delivered Software Projects/Programmes in Microsoft tech stack - C# .Net
• Financial Services experience is nice, but not essential
• Build experience at a "low level" - including the hands-on day-to-day management of developers, as well as working closely with architects and testers
• Run daily scrums, monitor backlogs, setting up and running of sprint sessions
• Able to run multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communicator, have finger on the pulse and be able to provide detailed updates at short notice - being up to date on progress and current status is key
