We are currently searching for a Business Development Manager for our headquarters in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

What will you be doing as a Business Development Manager at MAG45?

The Business Development Manager is responsible for converting opportunities into contracted customers and takes decisions within the lead, prospect and opportunity stage. In this position, your primary focus will be on the German market. You will identify, develop and close new business opportunities with (potential) customers in Germany.

As a Business Development Manager you are also responsible for market analysis and internal coordination. You work closely with team members and other departments such as Procurement, Project Management, Finance and Operations to ensure the right input for customer proposals. The ultimate goal is a closed deal contributing towards profitable growth.

In this role you report to the Manager Business Solutions of MAG45.

Key activities of the role:

Market Analysis: Execute market (i.e. competitor, customer, trends) analysis in the DACH region and provide ideas towards new required solutions & improvement based on the market needs and developments
Lead development: Propose a lead list and serve as the main contact person for leads in the German-speaking market
Prospect development: Execute prospect development strategy and serve as the main contact person for prospects throughout the acquisition project
Opportunity development: Reach a strategic alignment with potential customers and take responsibility for closing the deal
Internal coordination: Manage new business development activities in close collaboration with other departments and focus on achieving the end result

The role is tailor-made for you if:

You have a Master's degree in Business, Engineering or Technical, Supply Chain and/or Communication
You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience (in an international environment)
You are fluent in German (native level or business fluent) and English (written and verbal)
You have Supply Chain Management experience and/or affinity
You have experience in and/or strong affinity with the DACH region

Depending on your knowledge and experience, you will receive an attractive monthly salary in the range of €6.240,- to €8.470,- (based on the collective labor agreement for Technical Wholesale)
