Job Description

Our client is a large local government organisation to join their team

This is initially a 4 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate

You will

Our client is implementing a new payroll provider.

It's essential that the ideal candidate has experience of implementing payroll systems. iTrent experience would be a real advantage, but above all you must understand what's required for a successful payroll transfer, including data migration and parallel runs. This will need to be a Full time role given the tight timescales we're working to, and ideally someone who is available to start immediately.

Job spec:
-Previously migrated an outsourced payroll between two providers, ideally in a short time frame and mid-financial year
-Full understanding of payroll processing and set up, including interdependencies with HMRC and (ideally local government) pension arrangements
-Understanding of contractual arrangements with payroll providers, SLA's and licencing agreements
-Excellent stakeholder management
-Knowledge of year end statutory reporting requirements
database configuration

PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE IS INSIDE SCOPE OF IR35

2-3 days per week on site
