VTTI is a global player in energy storage and infrastructure, constantly evolving to meet the challenges of a changing energy landscape. As part of this transformation, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Business Performance team at our headquarters in Rotterdam.

As a Financial Analyst, you operate at the intersection of strategy and finance. You will contribute to both recurring performance cycles and high-impact strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for an energetic and driven professional who wants to move from consulting into a business finance role or is seeking the dynamic environment of a high-growth company.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the annual budget, multi-year plan, and quarterly performance reviews.
• Leading financial modelling and forecasting to assess business scenarios and support decision-making.
• Contributing to strategic projects such as 5-year plans, value creation programs, and equity stories.
• Collaborating with operational companies and HQ functions to gather insights and translate them into actionable financial strategies.
• Preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

What you bring

We are looking for a high-potential individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You bring:

• A master's degree in economics, Business or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Services (Big 4).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with FP&A tools is a plus.
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis capabilities.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• High energy, self-starting mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
• A willingness to dive deep into data to extract insights and challenge assumptions.
