VTTI is a global player in energy storage and infrastructure, constantly evolving to meet the challenges of a changing energy landscape. As part of this transformation, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Performance team at our headquarters in Rotterdam.

As Business Analyst, you operate at the intersection of strategy and finance. You will contribute to both recurring performance cycles and high-impact strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for an energetic and driven professional who wants to move from consulting into a business finance role or is seeking the dynamic environment of a high-growth company.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the annual budget, multi-year plan, and quarterly performance reviews.
• Leading financial modelling and forecasting to assess business scenarios and support decision-making.
• Contributing to strategic projects such as 5-year plans, value creation programs, and equity stories.
• Collaborating with operational companies and HQ functions to gather insights and translate them into actionable financial strategies.
• Preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

What you bring

We are looking for a high-potential individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You bring:

• A master's degree in economics, Business or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Transaction Services (Big 4).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with FP&A tools is a plus.
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis capabilities.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• High energy, self-starting mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
• A willingness to dive deep into data to extract insights and challenge assumptions.
