We're Hiring: Power BI Expert Freelance Opportunity Brussels (Hybrid)

We're looking for a Power BI Expert to join a high-impact data project for a public sector institution based in Brussels. This freelance mission involves both strategic and hands-on work in a collaborative, international environment.

Mission Highlights

You'll play a dual role:

• 50% Coaching & Mentoring: Guide and mentor a team of IT developers and business users, fostering Power BI best practices.
• 50% Data Modeling & Report Development: Design and build robust semantic models, optimize Power BI dashboards, and enable self-service analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach junior and mid-level team members on Power BI
• Translate static SAP BO reports into dynamic Power BI dashboards
• Contribute to a multi-country cloud data warehouse migration project
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with business needs

Your Profile

• Proven Power BI expertise in complex enterprise settings
• Strong skills in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Power BI Service
• Solid experience with semantic modeling and report performance optimization
• Comfortable with mentoring and knowledge sharing
• Familiarity with SAP BO and Azure is a strong plus
• Language: English (full professional proficiency) + Dutch or French (professional working proficiency)
