Join our team as a Bid Manager, responsible for delivering high-quality bids on time and within budget. Working within our Strategy & Growth function, you will define win-themes for each bidding opportunity and ensure our bid writers understand both the themes and solutions.
Our ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to quickly grasp complex operational delivery models and diverse commercial/funding arrangements.
We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 pa (dependent on experience) along with benefits such as:

Location: Remote working - flexible location
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities- Lead research, writing, preparation, and submission of high-quality bids and proposals aligned with growth strategies, including bid management and writing duties
- Manage bid progression through governance processes
- Facilitate bid-related meetings
- Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships team to optimize partnership success
- Contribute to developing new delivery ideas and service models
- Work with the Head of Bid Management to define and articulate win-themes
- Coordinate with Bid Writers to ensure understanding and articulation of solutions and themes

Skills and Experience- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- Strong project management skills; a qualification is desirable
- At least 2 years' experience in bid management
- Successful track record in winning strategic, high-value government or commercial contracts
- Understanding of the political and operational context of Employability, Skills, and Justice sectors
- Experience in facilitating solution design processes
- Ability to interpret and communicate specifications from multiple commissioners
