Position: Behaviour Mentor Location: South East London Contract Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAPAre you passionate about making a real difference in young peoples lives? Do you have the patience, empathy, and resilience to support students in overcoming behavioural challenges and unlocking their full potential? We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our dynamic and supportive team. In this vital role, you will work closely with students who need additional guidance, helping them to develop positive behaviours, build emotional resilience, and succeed both in and outside of the classroom. What Youll Do: Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis to improve behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing Build trusting relationships that foster personal growth and self-esteem Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to implement behaviour plans and strategies Act as a positive role model, promoting respect, responsibility, and reflection Monitor progress and provide feedback to the wider pastoral and leadership team What Were Looking For: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs (school, youth work, or similar) Strong communication and de-escalation skills A calm, compassionate, and consistent approach Ability to inspire, motivate, and build rapport Resilience, adaptability, and a good sense of humour!
