The Role of the Contract Automation QA EngineerQuality Assurance at CUBE is integrated throughout the development process, from inception to post-deployment analysis. All QA engineers will:
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
- Embrace continuous testing and test automation principles.
- Understand our architecture, infrastructure, and cloud-native patterns.
- Participate actively in planning, refinement, and delivery cycles.
- Build and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using approved frameworks.
- Design reliable, repeatable, and environment-aware tests.
- Ensure tests follow the test pyramid model.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Provide fast, meaningful feedback on all pull requests and deployments.
- Create automated tests for Azure resources like Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code testing strategies (e.g., Bicep, Terraform).
- Use tools such as Azure Load Testing or JMeter to validate performance under expected loads.
- Analyze telemetry data from Azure Application Insights and act accordingly.
- Develop test cases for authentication, authorization, data protection, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate on chaos testing and failure injection strategies.
As a fully embedded member of agile teams, QA testers will participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, ticket refinement, infrastructure reviews, and validation of monitoring and telemetry systems.
Required Experience- Minimum 5 years of software testing experience, with at least 3 years in automation.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end application testing, performance testing, user acceptance, non-functional testing, and API testing.
- Strong knowledge of test techniques, methodologies, and strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Web test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter or K6.
- Proficiency with API clients like POSTMAN or Swagger.
- Excellent programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Understanding of Git commands and repositories (Bitbucket, GITHUB, GITLAB).
- Experience with test management tools such as QMetry, TestRail, or QTest.
- Experience in building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
