We are seeking an Autism Assessor based in or near Belfast, open to permanent or contractor/associate roles, working on a hybrid basis with occasional face-to-face sessions in Belfast City Centre.

We have strong partnerships with NHS, university, and insurer contracts, delivering high-quality ADHD and Autism assessments, as well as assessments for learning differences. Wrap-around care-including psychoeducation, prescribing, educational navigation, and therapy-is provided all under one roof.
What You'll Do
- Conduct remote and in-person (Belfast) Autism assessments as part of a two-clinician team (autism observation and development history interview).
- Use your clinical expertise to deliver accurate diagnoses and thoughtful recommendations.
- Collaborate with Team Leads and psychiatry colleagues in MDTs when needed.
- Maintain high standards in clinical documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to the evolution of our Autism care pathways.
- Provide mentorship and training to peers in your area of expertise (permanent roles) or maintain registration with your governing body (contractor roles).
What We're Looking For
- Registered with NMC or HCPC (no restrictions)
- Background in Clinical Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
- Experienced in Autism assessment and diagnosis, including ADOS and ADIR certification (minimum 12 months experience)
- Proven experience with children and young people (CYP); adult experience highly desirable
- Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional in-person assessments in Belfast
- Confident in managing your own caseload and making autonomous clinical decisions
- Knowledgeable about current Autism research, neuro-affirmative report writing, legislation, best practices, and undertaking formulations
