Associate/Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP) - Data Centres

We're looking for an experienced Associate/Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our Dublin team, working on some of Europe's most exciting Data Centre projects. You'll take full ownership of the management, pricing and collation of Mechanical and Electrical projects and budgets, of various sizes - working directly with clients, contractors and our own directors, who are hands on from day one. You will also play a pivotal role in the mentoring and training of our placement and graduate employees.

• Full management, pricing and collation of Mechanical and Electrical projects and budgets, of various sizes.
• Identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting to management.
• Manage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.
• Manage and forecast turnover and cash flow of the projects.
• Review and commercial management of all projects, to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Identify, analyse and report on trends within the Business & Projects.
• Review incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and/or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
• Ensure Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements and provide advice and monitoring.
• Work both individually and as part of a multi functional team.
• Excellent IT skills essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under strict deadlines.

• A relevant third level qualification in Quantity Surveying, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of Mechanical and Electrical experience in a QS role.
• Mechanical/Electrical cost management experience is essential - Data Centre experience is preferred, including pre construction MEP design, HVAC, chilled water systems, high voltage electrical substations, cable installation, and MEP commissioning and testing.
• Construction stage Data Centre experience in Europe, ideally within a consultancy.
• Experience within a Construction Consultancy, Client or Developer environment (other backgrounds will be considered).
• Pre or post contract experience acting as CQS or PQS is an advantage.
• Chartered status is a strong advantage.
• A strong client facing profile, excellent attention to detail, and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Strong IT skills.
• Motivated and diligent team player, willing to go the extra mile.
