What we are looking for:

The Associate partners with Investment Managers in the asset management and oversight of various commercial real estate investments with the goal of optimizing financial performance. The role plays an integral role in developing and executing property-specific strategies, analyzing major leasing decisions, and understanding how they impact value. It involves performing feasibility studies and evaluating property-level performance against industry benchmarks.

For select assets, the role will be responsible for daily operations and client deliverables as directed by the Investment Manager. Additionally, it supports the preparation of quarterly and annual property reports and budgets for a portfolio of UK, Irish, & Nordic assets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with Investment Managers to create property-level operational strategies and analyze major leases, capital projects, or other investment factors impacting asset value.
  • Assisting in the review of valuation models (Argus and Excel) and participating in the acquisition and disposition process, overseeing due diligence information flow.
  • Preparing financial analyses to track portfolio and property results against industry benchmarks.
  • Coordinating the development of Annual Business Plans and Quarterly reports, assisting in budget preparation, and reviewing financial variances.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing market reports and lease or transaction data.
  • Assisting in creating asset-level ESG+R goals and working with third-party management, JV partners, and outside consultants to achieve these objectives.

What you can bring:

  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry is preferred.
  • Property-level experience is a plus.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Argus, Yardi, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret lease agreements, present value concepts, and financial terminology.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to undertake detailed analyses and make well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Prioritization, organization, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and collaborate with all management levels on critical projects.
  • A degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent academic qualification.
  • A commitment to ongoing education in real estate is encouraged.
