Job Description Summary

We have a fantastic 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to lead the Specialist Account Product set within the BTB Commercialisation team, part of Business & Commercial Banking (BCB).

Reporting to the Specialist Liquidity Products Director, you'll be responsible for developing and leading this £6bn product set, shaping the product strategy.

The Specialist Account Product set includes SAYE, Registration funds, Pledge account, Insolvency account, and Account Bank Account (ABA) Products. Responsibilities include end-to-end product management: strategy, risk, P&L, change prioritisation, commercialization, pricing, and client engagement.

Key Accountabilities
  • Act as SME for the Specialist Accounts Product set, supporting operations and platform teams.
  • Contribute to the future development of the BTB proposition.
  • Develop future strategy, including digitisation and automation.
  • Build client insights to inform investment plans.
  • Establish strong relationships with partners and external suppliers.
  • Coordinate with other product teams for a unified strategy.
  • Manage the product lifecycle and develop capabilities in partnership with Risk, Governance, Finance, and Operations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring governance and oversight.
What we need from you
  • Experience in product management within a commercial environment.
  • Experience with project management for system or architectural changes.
  • Senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial literacy, P&L management, and market understanding.
