Operational Information Security Expert (m/f/d)

Siltronic is one of the world's largest manufacturers of hyperpure silicon wafers and a partner to many leading chip manufacturers with around 4,400 employees and production facilities in Europe, Asia and the USA. We develop and manufacture wafers with a diameter of up to 300 mm.
We are currently strengthening our team in Burghausen or Freiberg with a full-time operational Information Security Expert (m/f/d).

YOUR TASKS

• Processing of security incidents, operational activities and processing of internal inquiries relating to information security issues
• Cooperation with the external service provider as part of the SOC and Vulnerability Management services
• Processing of protection requirement analyses and risk assessments
• Collaboration / support in company-wide projects to ensure information security
• Focus on taking over topics related to the operation of operational technology security solutions

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or completed IT vocational training with relevant experience
• Expertise in IT and/or information security
• Know-how in the analysis of IT security incidents and alarms as well as SOC experience or knowledge of vulnerability management desirable
• High level of commitment, problem-solving skills, teamwork and communication skills as well as a goal-oriented and independent way of working
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
