About the school

The Arts, Health and Wellbeing Centre is a joint initiative between the NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board and the University of Gloucestershire, aiming to improve population health and wellbeing through arts-based interventions. We will enable collaboration between communities, academia, health and care, to drive meaningful change in health equality and social connection. In the process, we will impact research and policy decisions - locally, nationally and globally.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Centre Manager to support the next phase of the Arts, Health and Wellbeing Centre (AHWC) - a unique partnership between the University of Gloucestershire, NHS partners and the wider community.

This role is central to the successful delivery and growth of the Centre. Working across Higher Education, health and care, and the voluntary and community sector (VCSE), you will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the AHWC and help translate ambitious plans into meaningful activity and impact.

You will lead the coordination of a varied portfolio of activity including events, workshops, education programmes, research initiatives and effective use of the Centre's facilities. Alongside operational delivery, you will build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ensuring activity is collaborative, well organised and aligned to the Centre's strategic priorities.

You will also contribute to the long-term sustainability of the AHWC through supporting income generation activity, including funding opportunities, partnerships and commissioned work, and by contributing to governance and reporting processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people together, working across organisational boundaries and turning ideas into action. You will act as an ambassador for the AHWC and play an important role in strengthening the Centre's profile, impact and contribution to creative health, research and community wellbeing.
