Your new role
As an AR accountant, you will work in an office located in Brussels with your new colleagues in a team of 4 people. You will be responsible for monitoring payments from various clients of the company, and you will also serve as a backup for the accounting team.
Your responsibilities
• Monitoring outstanding customer invoices and ensuring that payment reminders are sent on time.
• Providing client-focused support in both written and telephone contact with internal clients.
• Collaborating actively with colleagues and helping think through efficient solutions for outstanding items.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports on the status of payments.
• Identifying payment risks in a timely manner and offering targeted advice on appropriate credit limits.
• In time, you're willing to take on additional tasks within the accounting team, for example, by acting as a backup for colleagues.
Your profile
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a financial field.
• Languages: You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English with a minimum level of B2 in all three languages.
• Experience: You have previous experience as an AR accountant or credit collector.
• Personality: You are an autonomous person with a critical and strategic mindset.
• You have good skills in communication.
