Job Role:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test specifications, test cases, and regression test sets for new and enhanced software releases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the definition and execution of test strategies for projects and releases, covering functional and non-functional requirements, including environment setup, test data needs, and entry/exit criteria.
• Actively participate in backlog and refinement sessions to ensure user stories are testable and well-defined.
• Write, execute, and maintain test cases across multiple test phases; analyse, document, and report test results and defects.
• Ensure assigned test activities are executed according to agreed schedules and quality standards, escalating risks and issues when necessary.
• Apply and follow defined testing processes and standards, and proactively suggest improvements based on hands-on experience.
• Ensure that defects are clearly documented, reproducible, and followed up until resolution.
• Contribute to test reporting by providing accurate status updates, metrics, and inputs to final test reports ahead of UAT or release handover.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test cases within existing frameworks.

Required Skills:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in IT/software testing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and edge cases in complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Robot Framework, or similar.
• Programming or Scripting skills to support test automation (eg Python, Java).
• Exposure to testing in SAP environments (SAP GUI and/or Fiori).
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple testing activities and priorities
• Demonstrates a high standard of quality, following established testing procedures, standards, and policies.
• Solid understanding of operational excellence, security, and system resilience from a testing perspective.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset when addressing testing challenges.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into DevOps workflows.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Good business and customer awareness, understanding the impact of defects on end users.
• Experience working with Jira and Xray (or similar test management tools).
• Understanding of web service technologies (SOAP, REST) and experience with tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and operating systems (eg Linux).
