Senior Software Developer Warton (Hybrid: 1-2 days on site) £34.77 PAYE or £44.31 Umbrella (inside IR35) 12-Month Contract BPSS required (SC in progress, ITAR restrictions apply)Overview We're looking for Senior Software Developers to support the Engineering Support Subsystem (ESS)-a critical platform used by the RAF to monitor, diagnose, and maintain combat aircraft systems. You'll join a collaborative team developing primarily .NET (C#) desktop applications (WPF/WinForms) integrated with Oracle databases.Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and contribute to software design
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable code
• Write tests and technical documentation
• Support integration, build, and testing activities
• Contribute to tooling, standards, and team improvements

Skills & ExperienceEssential:

• Strong C# / .NET experience
• Knowledge of VB6
• WPF and/or WinForms

Desirable:

• Git/ClearCase, Azure DevOps
• Oracle, SQL, XML
• Automated testing tools
• TDD, SOLID, Agile
