Pay Rate: Up to £35 per hour
Are you passionate about Animal Care and inspiring the next generation of industry professionals? We are working with a college in Cheshire to recruit an Animal Care Lecturer on a temporary basis, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.
This is a rewarding opportunity to share your industry knowledge and help learners develop the practical skills, confidence and understanding needed to succeed in the animal care sector. You'll be teaching and supporting students across a range of Animal Care programmes, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where learners can thrive.
The Role- Deliver high-quality teaching across Animal Care programmes.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet awarding body requirements.
- Support, assess and monitor learner progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to course administration.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Relevant Animal Care qualification.
- Experience working within the Animal Care industry and/or teaching Animal Care.
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for supporting and developing learners.
- Competitive pay of up to £35 per hour.
