About the Role
Athona is currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join an NHS 111 Integrated Urgent Care Service in Barking, London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a clinical assessment role, providing high-quality patient care and clinical advice through telephone and digital consultations.
The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with day, night and flexible shifts available. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ACP looking for regular, ongoing work with continuity and flexibility.
Start date: ASAP
Shift pattern: Days, nights and flexible shifts available
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current NMC registration
- An MSc or PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP)
- An Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
- Proven experience within urgent care, primary care or emergency care settings
- Confidence in autonomous clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication and digital consultation skills
- The ability to assess patients and provide safe, evidence-based clinical advice remotely
- Providing remote clinical consultations to patients with urgent care needs
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and providing appropriate advice
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, paramedics, pharmacists and mental health professionals
- Using NHS Pathways alongside your professional clinical judgement to support safe decision-making
- Directing patients to the most appropriate care pathway and healthcare setting
- Supporting the wider NHS by helping to reduce unnecessary pressure on A&E services
