Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Administrator / Safeguarding Administrative Assistant to support the effective coordination of safeguarding processes within a busy, multi agency environment. As an Administrator / Safeguarding Administrative Assistant you will play a key role in administration, data entry, record keeping and communication between internal teams and external partners, ensuring accurate and timely handling of sensitive information. Working closely with support services and partner agencies, you will help ensure high risk cases are managed effectively, contributing to improved safety outcomes for vulnerable individuals.

Duties
  • Manage MARAC Agendas: Receive, record and allocate daily agendas accurately to relevant services.
  • Coordinate Communications: Liaise with internal teams and external agencies regarding cases and updates.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all case information, minutes and actions are logged and stored correctly.
  • Track Actions: Monitor post meeting actions and ensure completion within required timeframes.
  • Respond to Enquiries: Act as the main point of contact for MARAC related queries.
  • Support Case Allocation: Work with managers to ensure cases are assigned appropriately.
  • Update Systems: Maintain trackers, databases and documentation in line with procedures.
  • Identify Missing Information: Chase outstanding or inaccurate data from referral partners.
  • Build Partnerships: Develop effective working relationships with multi agency stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements (Essential)
  • Previous experience in administration, coordination or office support roles.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or children with an understanding of safeguarding.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Understanding of domestic abuse dynamics and trauma informed approaches.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.
  • Professional, empathetic and non judgemental approach.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
Candidate Requirements (Desirable)
  • Experience of working within multi agency or partnership environments.
  • Experience supporting safeguarding or risk assessment processes.
  • Knowledge of MARAC processes or similar case conference procedures.
  • Background in social care, support services or not for profit sector.
