About the roleWe havean exciting opportunityfor an enthusiastic administrative professional,or quick-learningearly career individual,to join theOxford Vaccine Group (OVG)in the Department of Paediatricsas ourAdministrative Assistant.
OVGis a leading clinical researchinstitute, led by Professor Sir Andrew Pollard,conductingstudies into new and improved vaccines for adults and children.You willbe part of this dynamic team, supporting the world-leading research and day-to-day smooth running of OVG, with opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of administrative tasks and projects.
Key duties of the roleincluderesponding to enquiries,bookingand rearranging meetings,assistingwith events, leading on administrative duties for the staff induction and leavers programmes, preparing paperwork on behalf of colleagues, making travel arrangements, and general office administration.
This position is offeredfull-timeon a fixed-term contract,initially for one yearwith the possibility to extend.
Please note, whilst we endeavour to support flexible working, this is expected to be anin-office roledue to the requirements of the post.

About youYou will be trustworthy, dependable, confident using your own initiative,andableto work well with staff atdifferent levelsof seniority. Demonstratable excellent communication, IT and organisational skills are essential, as well as experience in an office environment.

Salary (£) : 28,437 - 32,108 per annum with a discretionary range to £34,732 per annum (pro rata)
