We are seeking an Administration Officer to join the Business Support team working with the Compliance and Amenity Department. Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, your role is to:
- Be an integral part of the Compliance and Amenity Department with the primary function to ensure a customer centric service is provided to all community members and staff within the Organisation
- Ensure accurate and timely coordination of information into and out of the department, as the position works with employees at all levels across Council
- Provide administrative support to the department as a whole, including word processing, filing and maintenance of records, processing registrations and renewals, issuing of permits, bookings and distribution of correspondence to the department
- Input accurate records of customer service requests electronically using the Council database system (currently Pathway) - this includes the allocation of requests to areas and in urgent/emergency cases, direct to an area Officer for immediate action
- Maintain accurate electronic records using the Council's records management system (currently HPE Content Manager)
We are looking for someone with:
- Background or qualification in administration
- Experience using a customer relationship management system; use of Pathway and Content Management would be desirable
- Excellent communication and time management skills
